We in New Mexico have had Republican governors and Democratic governors. We have had Democratic and Republican Party legislators. We have had liberal and conservative politicians. Now we read that New Mexico ranks 50th in measures of poverty, some education achievement, drug deaths and other indicators of quality of lives.
